Hello there —if you have found me here perhaps the universe is directing us to connect. This is an incredibly amazing time for each of us. Amazing and chaotic, full of beauty and pain.
My desire in creating this space is rooted in this: It is my wish for you to remember your own unique light. YOU my friend are a powerful being full of love, intelligence, strength, resilience and JOY. Are you feeling this on the daily? Individually and collectively we can recognize that luminous quality of peace and knowing that exists. Often times it’s simply on the other side of some movement and breath. In these times it is so vital to touch this luminosity at least once a day. It is my hope to give you tools available to experience this in more ways than by simply coming to class twice a week. That post yoga glow, the sense of calm that you feel immediately post savasana is only as helpful as it seeps in to your responses, conscious thoughts and honest expression of feelings. In a variation of Ralph Waldo Emerson’s quote—-What you have within you is so much deeper and stronger than anything that happened before you or that lies ahead of you. With intention and clear purpose you may access the light within to discern wisely. With humility I bow to all of my teachers. As an eternal student I find lessons in life all of the time: from my three children, from so many relationships, from failed plans, and moments that turn out better than expected. The teachers whom I have turned to for inspiration and credentials for sharing the path to Yoga are: Kathleen Barratt of www.Barrattbreathinstitute.com, Jeffrey and Andrea Cohen of www.satsangyogasc.com, Tracee Stanley of www.Traceeyoga.com, Octavio Salvado of https://www.thepracticebali.com/meet-us/our-team/, Katie Silcox of https://theshaktischool.com/about/, and Sage Rountree of www.sagerountree.com. My most favorite offering is to come together in a beautiful setting with a sense of freedom from the daily grind and immersing with new friends in practice, rest, introspection. There is always common ground discovered and compassion for others and self. Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu May all beings everywhere be happy and free. Love, Cathy |
