20-30 minutes of accessible movement--yoga postures, movements of the spine, repetitive flows to get the body warm and to move stagnant energy. The next 30 to 40 minutes we get fully comfortable in a reclined posture while I guide you through methods that lead to a state of complete relaxation opening to the grace of the state of Yoga Nidra. Yoga Essentials
A brief dharma talk. Asana, savasana, and guided breath that lead to a contented rest in spacious awareness. If you choose, savasana includes lavender lotion to relax the head, hands, and feet. 90 minutes.
Yoga Nidra
Get cozy and be guided into a deep relaxation through breathing and following a set of verbal instructions to lead you to surrender to the state where your senses are all internalized and you experience a state of spaciousness, greater awareness and ease. Regular practice can reduce stress and anxiety, helps alleviate chronic pain, improve sleep and activates the parasympathetic nervous system which is our "rest and digest" system of the physical body. Don't underestimate the healing that can be gained through relaxation.

This practice offers a sequential process of moving into stillness: first the body, then the breath, then the mind, and then emptying into the deep inner silence of meditation. In this “inner quiet” we awaken to the quiet presence of the True Self and a deeper level of inner transformation available to us.
