All classes at the Illuminate Space are for all levels! Even if you feel confident flowing along with the movements—this series of classes with Cathy will improve your practice in a big way to know that —this practice is way more than the movements. The physical body is just one thread of the whole strand. 


This series will offer you a solid introduction to the eight limbs of yoga:



yamas  (do good)

niyamas (be good)

asana   (the movement)

pranayama (the breath)

pratyhara  (withdrawal of the senses)

dharana   (concentration)

dhyana    (meditation)

samadhi   (bliss)


We will review two limbs each week before moving into a practice. Journaling questions will be offered. Final class to have tea and a special ceremony of our own. The foundation for a home practice will be set but it is my hope that you will find a new home in this space together.
